I am a video maker exploring the intersections between sound, music, and society. With a background in music and anthropology, I like to use observational and participatory filmmaking to explore how creativity is shaped by space and culture.

Beyond my own films, I also work in sound recording, sound design, and composition for short films. Recent projects include ‘The Willows’, a folk-horror short, as well as ‘The Second Fisherman’, a comedy short, for which I recorded sound, and composed original music and sound design elements. I have also provided sound recording for dramatic shorts. ‘We're Breaking Up’ and ‘Not Like This’.

 

As a musician, I perform original music live, combining guitar, songwriting, saxophone and live electronics. I hope to create work that celebrates the cultural impact of creative communities and how music can be a vital expression of human nature.
