They call this a 'ceasefire', but we refuse to call it peace: Brighton marches for Gaza 12 Oct 2025
This is a video I produced for the Brighton and Hove Palestine Solidarity Campaign, documenting the protest that took place in Brighton following the announcement of a ceasefire on 12th October 2025. Months on, as it appears to be a "ceasefire" in name only, the situation remains critically urgent. The UK’s role in this crisis is deeply complicit: it continues to manufacture and supply arms to Israel, while providing surveillance services that enable further violence. This su

Folklore Rooms gig: 'Loverboy Leave' Release Show with AlinaMusic
I returned to the Folklore Rooms in Brighton this month to support the release of Alina's new single, 'Loverboy Leave'. A real privilege to be back in such a special space — great sound, great stage design, and a fantastic crowd. It was my most stripped-back performance to date, playing with zero loops — just my voice and my guitar. It was cool to dig into the raw sounds of the songs and give my full attention to the performance.

Folklore Rooms gig: 'Live from the Living Room' Release Show with Solo Project
First show at the Folklore Rooms — exciting to play such an iconic venue that is a staple of the grassroots scene in Brighton. Great to support the new EP from the wonderful Solo Project, who I met last year on Adrianne Lenker's songwriting course. I played a set of original songs, accompanied by guitar and electronic samples played back on my looper. It was a real chance to bring the songs to life in a more layered and textured way.

The Willows - Sound for film project
Great to work again with Blue Light Films, after the success of our 48 hour film project earlier in the summer. This was one of the most involved projects I've taken on — a sound design piece for a short horror film that really pushed me to get experimental. The first stage was all about location recording, spent on one of the last summer days by the river. Working with the MixPre 10 again, I used a stereo XY setup with a pair of lav mics to capture the atmospherics of the lo

48 Hour Film Project: The Second Fisherman
This was my first time working on a 48 Hour Film Project — an annual challenge where teams are given a genre, a character, a prop, and a line of dialogue, and just 48 hours to write, shoot, and edit a film. It was great to collab with Blue Light Films, and join forces with Jamie Rye Potter on our two-person sound team. We took the 48-hour limit seriously — every sound in the film was recorded from scratch, no pre-recorded effects or music. The first day was spent on set in th
