Session and composition work with Joanie Bones

Great to have worked with the wonderful Joanie Bones on this session. Joanie is an artist who creates music with roots in traditional folk and storytelling, crafting songs that focus on feminine perspectives outside of the mainstream. For this piece, Joanie sent me some acapella ideas for an instrumental accompaniment to her song, which I arranged into a part for bass guitar, and we then recorded in a session at Guildhall School, tucked away somewhere in the labyrinth of London's Barbican.
