Working in the Film Crew at Sheffield DocFest

This summer I attended Sheffield DocFest and volunteered as a member of the festival film crew.
It was fantastic to be a part of this festival. I watched many incredible documentaries during the week I was there - a great opportunity to get a feel for the cutting edge of documentary film.
A highlight of this was being the sound recordist for director and festival stakeholder interviews. This meant I also got to meet a few of the film directors, as well as a number of festival staff, working behind the scenes to deliver the UK’s leading documentary festival.
